One by one the people are disappearing: Salem's Lot is dying. Ben fears the answer lies in the old Marsten house with its mysterious new occupants, the sinister antiques dealer Mr. Straker (James Mason), whose expertise goes beyond bric-a-brac, and the dealer's mysterious, pale-skinned "partner", the elusive Mr. Barlow (Reggie Nalder). It's hard to keep the undead down. And so easy to be scared in Salem's Lot.
