Summary:	Uncle Ming (Richard Ng), a crook posing as a Taoist priest, who uses his ghost friend Ta Pao (Lui Fong) to fake exorcisms, has come into a town that is about to be overrun by a gang of horse thieves that is led by a witch (Wong Yuk Waan). A reward is put out for their arrest, and although the trickster attempts to catch them, his bumbling tactics fail miserably. However, a genuine Taoist priest (Lam Ching Ying) is also in town, and when the town official asks him to stop the raiders, he forces the trickster to his aid to help put an end to the supernatural attacks.
