Our Ranking

short review:

Slow paced mixture of sex, blood and violence. Sometimes there are similarities to the movie-making style of Jess Franco (with whom director Jean Rollin worked together on "Virgin Among The Living Dead"), although "Fascination" is realized on a higher quality level. The good story is not about real vampires but about some High-Society girls instead, who turned away from the prescribed ox blood (to cure anaemia) to human blood and developed a real craving for it. Not bad, but Rollin made better movies, especially La Morte Vivante!
