short review:

Neat little picture (with an incredibly low budget), that is all dark and grainy, but has a great George Zucco playing both good and evil (that's the vampire of course), and Dwight Frye in his final role (he died of a heart attack the very next year). The dead brother's return as a vampire (to avenge his death and destroy anything that matters to his brother) does not follow conventional vampire lore, as he becomes a vampire through the use of black magic. This little studio film has it's own charm, and some shots are very atmospheric. Creepy, stylish horror gem!
